New marketplace for freelancers & SMEs, launched in the UAE

A first-of-its-kind multi-service online web-based marketplace, has been launched in UAE which allows customers to avail a variety of daily services while offering event planners, both corporate and private, to hire various event-related equipment and talent-oriented professionals for their events.

The platform also functions as an online marketplace that connects freelance professionals and SMEs with businesses. One of the several services provided by the service is the ability to book for PCR tests which would be conducted at their homes.

The service enables customers to rent studios, event venues, supplies and cleaning services through just a few clicks while helping professionals and freelancers to gain new clients at no extra cost or any subscription fee.

Through a network of more than 500 freelancers, customers can use the services provided by hire performers and service staff who include but are not limited to musicians, artists, influencers, chefs, makeup artists, part-time staff for event-related projects, motivational speakers, videographers, photographers, designers, teachers, hostesses, models, entertainers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ahmed Al Hassoni from stated that “The services and rental industry is a multi-billion-dollar market in the UAE and we are quite keen to revolutionize the market. With COVID-19 changing the dynamics of the way people work and the thriving gig economy in the UAE, we want to make sure we support the freelancers and service professionals by providing them a platform to get the right kind of work and projects. We want to make sure we contribute positively to the UAE economy.”

Currently gaining seed funding from various sources, the platform will soon also scale its operations across key growth markets in the MENA region with an app-based platform expected to launch soon.
