Irish firm Byrnelooby expands its presence in ME with new Saudi office

Ireland-based multi-award-winning international design engineering consultancy, ByrneLooby is expanding its presence in the Middle East with a new office in Saudi Arabia, as demand increases for its services.

According to the statement, ByrneLooby has worked on a variety of vital infrastructure projects in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia, including mega projects like Amaala, Neom, Jazan Economic City, and Qiddaya, which are all part of Vision 2030.

Further, the company is one of the leading marine engineering consultants in the Middle East and has provided engineering expertise on the ports of Aqaba, Dammam, Doha, Dubai’s Maritime City, and on the CHIT award-winning Doha Metro.

Mr. John Barnes, Technical Director of the Middle East at ByrneLooby commented, “Over the past ten years, we have seen significant growth in demand for our services in KSA. We target large, complex projects where we can add value and which require complex engineering expertise. This year, it is a huge privilege to help kickstart cruising in Saudi Arabia, providing the detailed design of the Saudi Cruise Berth Improvement Project across three strategically located ports.”

ByrneLooby first set up operations in the Middle East 11 years ago. The Irish engineering consultants currently sits on the framework for national utility Irish Water in their homeland, as per the statement.
