The Fashion Commission, one of the new authorities under the Saudi Ministry of Culture, has announced that the Kingdom’s flagship fashion event Fashion Futures event will take place at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh on the 10th and 11th of December 2021.

According to the reports, the two-day event will bring together global, regional, and local fashion communities to create a dynamic exchange of knowledge, ideas, and expertise. Fashion Futures will explore the themes of sustainability, diversity, culture, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

According to the reports, “The event will be open to not only fashion experts and professionals but also to fashion enthusiasts, who will be able to attend and participate virtually in a series of selected online events and digital activations from around the world.”

Fashion Futures will bring together some of the industry’s most well-known digital innovators, speakers, design mavericks, and inspiring leaders from around the world in hybrid in-person and virtual panel discussions. The attendees will get the opportunity to learn from and interact with some of the world’s most renowned fashion experts during two days of hands-on workshops, masterclasses, and Q&A sessions.

Earlier this year, Fashion Futures relaunched as a digital platform with a live event titled “Fashion Futures Live: Moving Towards Sustainability, Diversity, and Innovation.”

The event represents the latest development for the Fashion Commission as they continue to spearhead the growth of the Kingdom’s fashion sector. The event is set to be a one-of-a-kind fashion event in the Middle East, promoting the Kingdom as a regional fashion hub while showcasing local talent and potential.
