Qatar Offices to work at 80% from 28 July

In a weekly council meeting chaired by The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Qatar has decided to allow private and government offices to operate with 80% attendance in the office from 28 July 2020.

Key Pointers 

  1. Government Sector Offices can function without exceeding 80% of the total number of employees working in the workplace, while the rest of the employees are expected to carry out their work remotely from their homes.
  2. Private Sector Offices can function without exceeding 80% of the total number of employees working in the workplace, while the rest of the employees are expected to carry out their work remotely from their homes.
  3. Healthcare facilities offering health services can function without exceeding 80% of the total number of employees working in the workplace, while the rest of the employees are expected to carry out their work remotely from their homes.
  4. All permitted offices and facilities are expected to adhere to health requirements, precautionary measures and measures and controls determined by the Ministry of Public Health.
  5. The competent authorities within the jurisdiction are expected to take necessary measures to ensure the functioning facilities remain compliant to all the security protocols and measures.
