Germany-based Daimler AG subsidiary Mercedes-Benz has launched an eCommerce platform of its passenger cars for the customers in the UAE.

Gargash Enterprises, the authorized dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, has informed that it is the luxury auto manufacturer’s first-ever passenger car eCommerce platform in the region.

The fully integrated eCommerce platform will facilitate the whole process, from browsing the information to purchasing a car. It will show the real-time details on the availability of vehicle stock, specifications, and retail prices and has features such as online booking and payment options.

Furthermore, the interested buyers have the option of booking a test drive from wherever they are located, as well as arranging to deliver the purchased vehicle right to their doorstep. Customers have the option of downloading the comprehensive brochure available for each vehicle on the portal, which provides detailed information on the specifications of the cars.

A ‘configurator’ tab allows consumers to configure their cars, allowing them to choose their desired engine configuration, exterior design elements, colors, wheel dimensions, interior dimensions, upholstery, interior trims, and additional interior packages, as well as supporting external equipment and accessories.

The ‘contact us’ tab on the site allows customers to get in touch with a customer service representative who further assists with queries and purchases.

Last year, another major auto manufacturer Volkswagen Middle East had also launched an eCommerce platform in association with its dealer partners in the UAE and Saudi Arabia to allow customers to buy vehicles entirely online.
