SPC Free Zone signs MoU with Mashreq to offer customers banking services

Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone (SPC Free Zone), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mashreq Bank, to offer priority access to banking services to its investors, startups, and business owners, and further drive the growth of the free zone.

Under the MoU, signed by Mr. Salim Omar Salim, Director, SPC Free Zone and Mr. Vikas Thapar, Head of Business Banking and NEOBiz, Mashreq Bank, the SPC Free Zone and Mashreq bank will collaborate to assist the free zone’s customers to open and manage bank accounts and gain easy access to an array of financial services offered by Mashreq. Customers from the SPC Free Zone will be given priority and their account opening will be expedited.

SPC Free Zone has been a vital player in bringing publishers from both sides of the world closer, accelerating the entry and expansion of industry players into the Gulf, Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) regions, leveraging Sharjah’s strategic location between east and west.

It provides enterprises with a beneficial free-zone business environment that includes 100 percent foreign ownership, world-class infrastructure with fully furnished office spaces, and extensive allied services such as printing, licensing, and distribution.
