Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Salik Company PJSC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop smart mobility solutions across DIEZ’s free zones.
The initiative covers Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ), Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), and Dubai CommerCity (DCC).
The partnership will focus on developing integrated mobility solutions, including access control systems and parking optimization technologies, to improve traffic flow and operational efficiency across the three free zones.
The project will cover more than 21,000 parking spaces to enhance mobility and space utilization for businesses, investors, and visitors.
The agreement supports Dubai’s digital transformation and smart mobility objectives by introducing technologies that improve operational efficiency and provide a more seamless customer experience.
The planned implementation of the partnership also marks the launch of a new smart mobility business vertical for Salik while strengthening DIEZ’s technical infrastructure, operational capabilities, and access control through unified standards across its economic zones.

Under the MoU, DIEZ and Salik will evaluate opportunities to integrate their technical systems and mobility platforms to improve traffic management, strengthen access control, and optimize the use of parking facilities within the free zones.
The partnership supports more coordinated mobility management across DIEZ’s free zones while enhancing operational efficiency and improving the overall experience for businesses and customers.
