du, the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), has announced the launch of a new Power Plans promotion to provide consumers with more data and improve their personal and professional connectivity experiences.

Postpaid customers who subscribe to Power Plans 200 and above will have their data doubled for three months effective immediately, as part of du’s goal to simplify customers’ lives by providing value-added services. This will provide additional benefits to subscribers across the UAE and take the trouble out of connecting with friends and family.

Customers will be able to access 5G-enabled data, which means that they will be able to enjoy 5G speeds and its benefits. Customers who avail of the benefit of this limited-time offer will be able to use the extra data for three months after activation on any day within the period.

5G networks, according to du, are the next step in delivering great speed, improved efficiency, and a more advanced mobile business future. The major UAE telco has made significant progress in its 5G implementation, and this latest initiative will expose even more consumers to the high levels of performance and benefits that come with 5G-enabled data and networks.

As communication infrastructure providers that offer speed, reliability, and security, du’s 4G and 5G mobile networks are unrivaled in terms of coverage and uptime, features that ensure postpaid customers get the most out of the new Power Plans promotion. Data will increase societal pleasure and provide a significant service to the larger community.

The 5G transformation will enable du to address new business opportunities and diverse 5G use cases, including Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), massive Internet of Things (IoT), and ultra-reliable low-latency (URLL) innovative applications across enterprises and industry verticals such as smart cities, manufacturing and health.
