TRENDS Research & Advisory has announced its transition into TRENDS Group as part of an institutional restructuring to enhance its integrated knowledge operations and expand its regional and international presence.
The transformation introduces an expanded ecosystem designed to combine scientific research, strategic foresight, monitoring, global outreach, and training under a unified framework.
According to the organization, the transition reflects its continued growth across multiple domains and the need for a broader structure to support its evolving scope of work.
TRENDS Group now comprises five core entities operating within a coordinated system to enhance efficiency and diversify output.
These include TRENDS Research & Advisory, TRENDS Global, TRENDS Barometer, TRENDS Observatory for Social Phenomena Studies, and the TRENDS Training Institute.
Together, these entities are expected to function as complementary units, strengthening the group’s capacity in research production, data analysis, capacity building, and global engagement initiatives.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer of TRENDS Group, said that the transition represents a significant strategic shift and reflects the organization’s institutional maturity.
The new structure is designed to respond to the requirements of a rapidly evolving knowledge environment through an integrated model that brings together research, training, monitoring, and international collaboration.
Al Ali added that TRENDS Group aims to reinforce its position as a global platform for credible knowledge production, contributing to the development of research-based insights and intellectual discourse. This will be supported through the adoption of advanced research methodologies and the use of emerging technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
Dr. Al Ali further stated that the initiative is intended to build stronger bridges of knowledge and dialogue with diverse cultures and academic communities.
The restructuring reflects TRENDS’ broader strategy to align with international best practices in research and advisory services while expanding its influence in areas related to policy research, social studies, training, and strategic analysis.
