Bank Nizwa has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Sharia-compliant housing finance solutions for eligible citizens under the Iskan Program, the national housing initiative led by Oman Housing Bank.
The bank said that it continues to facilitate subsidized housing finance applications for citizens on the Oman Housing Bank waiting lists, aiming to improve access to housing finance and streamline the customer experience for qualified applicants.
According to Bank Nizwa, the initiative is aligned with efforts to enhance homeownership opportunities through Islamic banking solutions that comply with Sharia principles while offering structured and accessible financing options.

Under the Iskan Program, Bank Nizwa provides financing options covering ready properties, properties under construction, and self-built homes on customer-owned land. These offerings are designed to provide flexibility for customers at different stages of homeownership.
The bank also highlighted additional benefits, including reduced processing and valuation fees, a waiver of credit card annual fees for the first year, and preferential profit rates on personal financing products. Dedicated relationship managers have also been assigned to support Iskan Program customers.
Bank Nizwa said its participation in the program reflects its role in supporting the housing sector in Oman and expanding access to Islamic banking services that contribute to sustainable economic development.
