The UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on strengthening cooperation between their countries.
The discussions focused on expanding partnerships across key sectors, including the economy, development, and renewable energy, as both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral ties.
The UAE and Serbia enjoy a growing partnership marked by strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties. Bilateral cooperation spans trade, investment, energy, technology, and tourism, with the UAE being one of Serbia’s key partners in the Middle East.
The two countries have steadily expanded collaboration under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which provides a framework for boosting trade, encouraging joint ventures, and facilitating sustainable development projects. High-level exchanges and visits have further reinforced mutual interests, laying the groundwork for long-term strategic and economic cooperation.
During this discussion, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening UAE-Serbia relations and expanding long-term economic cooperation across a range of strategic sectors.
They underscored the importance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement as a key framework for boosting trade, investment, and business collaboration, while supporting sustainable growth and shared prosperity for both countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Aleksandar Vučić also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern, with a particular focus on recent developments in the Middle East and their impact on regional security and stability.
