Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the continued expansion of their strategic partnership across key sectors.
Shaikh Salman said that the longstanding relationship between the two neighboring kingdoms continues to strengthen through closer cooperation and coordinated efforts that support shared economic growth, regional stability, and sustainable development.
He noted the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in advancing bilateral relations, as well as the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The remarks were made during a meeting with Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), and Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works; Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning; and Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the role of the Saudi Fund for Development in supporting development projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, reflecting the longstanding ties between the two countries and Gulf cooperation.
The meeting also reviewed means to enhance cooperation and discussed several financial and economic issues of common interest, as per the statement.
