Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, met with members of the UAE International Investors Council (IIC) to discuss the country’s foreign trade strategy.

The discussions focused on key priorities shaping the Emirates’ economic objectives, including strengthening trade partnerships, enhancing investment opportunities, and driving economic diversification.

These strategic initiatives are aimed at positioning the Emirates as a global leader in trade and investment.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Trade presented a set of strategic initiatives to the Council, aimed at supporting the country’s long-term trade and economic strategy.

“The UAE International Investors Council provides an important platform to engage with leading UAE investors whose perspectives are valuable in informing the development of initiatives that support our national economic priorities. These discussions help ensure that our strategies and initiatives continue to support the Emirates’ long-term economic priorities and reinforce its position as a global hub for trade and investment.”

According to the statement, the discussion provided an opportunity to review these initiatives with members of the Council and exchange views on their role in advancing the Emirates’ economic agenda.

The session brought together prominent UAE investors and business leaders, who shared valuable insights on strengthening the nation’s economic outlook.

“Key discussions centered on fostering innovation, expanding global trade networks, and supporting initiatives for sustainable growth. These collaborative efforts aim to drive long-term economic resilience and ensure a diversified, future-proof economy for the country,” as per the statement.
