World Future Energy Summit 2024 kicks off at ADNEC

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2024 has kicked off at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, with a strong focus on advancing the change agenda laid down at COP28.

The 16th edition of Summit will be taking place from 16th to 18th April 2024. Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), the three-day summit aims to promote innovation and investment to bring about a global transition to clean energy, and lay down plans to build a sustainable future by attracting investors and providers of advanced energy solutions.

Drawing in over 30,000 visitors from around the world, World Future Energy Summit 2024 is a world-class future energy and sustainability event, with its role encompassing a drive to accelerate the global energy transition and align the efforts of industry leaders, policymakers, and startups, setting in motion a collaborative drive to secure a more environment-friendly future.

It is the world’s leading business event for future energy, clean-tech, and sustainability. As a global hub for business, innovation, and knowledge exchange, the World Future Energy Summit inspires the advancement and transfer of ideas, technologies, and investment across borders and between the public and private sectors worldwide.

World Future Energy Summit 2024

The Summit will feature six conferences focusing on Solar, EcoWaste, Water, Clean Energy, Smart Cities, and Climate & Environment, as well as a dedicated ‘Pathway to 1.5C’ forum focused on outcomes from COP28 and two forums addressing Green Finance and e-Mobility.

This year’s knowledge program also features its largest female participation, with women speakers set to bring a critical perspective to a range of issues from climate change to sustainable tourism, smart city technology to circular economy integration, workplace diversity to learnings from COP28.

It will also host a dedicated panel discussion on female entrepreneurs leading decarbonization innovation, and a dedicated area for its Climate Innovations Exchange (CLIX) initiative, a curated platform where female-led, run, or founded startups, as well as SMEs and innovators, can demonstrate game-changing products and solutions to a global audience.
