The second edition of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit has commenced at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, bringing together decision-makers, developers, investors, financiers and innovators to discuss the future of sustainable urban development.
Running until 14 May 2026, the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit highlights Abu Dhabi’s growing role as a global platform for shaping future cities and advancing more sustainable, efficient and resilient urban models.
The Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS) is a flagship global event showcasing achievements and future project pipelines across infrastructure development and construction. By convening industry leaders and senior decision-makers, the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit aims to accelerate high-value partnerships, facilitate critical dialogue, and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as an international hub for smart city planning, large-scale construction, and sustainable urban development.
The event comes amid accelerating global urban transformation, with projections indicating that urban populations could increase by around 2.5 billion people by the middle of the century.
Global infrastructure projects are also expected to require investments of around $106 trillion by 2040, underlining the need for advanced urban planning strategies capable of enhancing sustainability, improving resource efficiency and addressing future development challenges.
The Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit will feature a multi-day conference, a dedicated exhibition and structured matchmaking sessions focused on four key themes shaping the future of cities globally: delivery-first infrastructure, urban wellbeing, smart solutions, and sustainability and resilience.
Covering governance frameworks, digital infrastructure, sustainable housing and advanced construction, the program is designed to move beyond discussion by driving large-scale execution and accelerating low-carbon urban development.

For the first time, ADIS 2026 will host dedicated conference sessions in collaboration with International Federation of Consulting Engineers, the global representative body for consulting engineers. The sessions will focus on contracting, dispute avoidance and resolution practices under the Abu Dhabi Capital Projects Framework, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s commitment to governance excellence and internationally aligned project delivery standards.
Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2026 will also witness expanded international participation from Singapore, China and Turkey, building on momentum generated through international roadshows across these markets in 2025.
The roadshows resulted in MoUs and more than business-to-business meetings. The increased international presence will provide a platform for contractors, developers and industry leaders from participating countries to showcase their capabilities and engage directly with Abu Dhabi’s project owners, developers and delivery authorities, supporting long-term collaboration and shared investment opportunities.
