Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 has opened at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, convening hundreds of companies from around the world to showcase industrial innovation, manufacturing technologies, and investment opportunities.

The event was inaugurated by Eng. Khalil bin Salamah, Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs and is organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd.. It will run until June 24.

Eng. bin Salamah noted at the opening ceremony that the Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 exhibition serves as a key platform to highlight the transformation of Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector, particularly its adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

He emphasized that the Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 supports efforts to attract high-quality industrial investments and reflects the Kingdom’s growing role in global manufacturing.

He also noted that Saudi Arabia’s industrial strategy is focused on converting raw materials into value-added products to boost non-oil exports, support economic diversification, and strengthen the country’s position as a global industrial hub.

Mohammed Al-Hussaini, CEO of Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd., stated that the Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 event features participation from 337 companies across 17 countries.

The exhibition is being held alongside an international conference that includes panel discussions and more than 40 speakers from 12 countries. Participants include experts in manufacturing, supply chains, and industrial digital transformation.

Highlights at Riyadh International Industry Week 2026

Following the inauguration, Eng. bin Salamah toured the exhibition halls, reviewing technologies and solutions across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, plastics and petrochemicals, printing and packaging, and smart logistics services.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of a cooperation agreement between National Plastic Factory Company (NPF) and Spain’s Figueras to locally manufacture stadium and theater seating in Saudi Arabia.

The first phase of the project involves an investment of $2.67 million (SAR 10 million). The initiative is expected to support industrial knowledge transfer, strengthen local content development, and advance localization goals. The agreement was signed under the sponsorship of the National Industrial Development Center.

Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 continues through June 24, positioning Saudi Arabia as a growing hub for advanced manufacturing, industrial innovation, and international investment partnerships.
