The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has unveiled its new HAKEEM digital health platform and mobile application to provide patient-centered digital health services.

The platform is available for both iOS and Android and enhances the quality, efficiency, and safety of healthcare delivery across QRCS facilities.

The HAKEEM digital health platform provides users with secure access to essential health information, including medical appointments, lab results, prescriptions, medical history, and treatment plans. In addition, patients can receive health-related alerts and notifications to stay informed about their care.

Abdullah Sultan Al Qattan, Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Medical Affairs Division at QRCS, stated that, “QRCS has made one more achievement in developing health services and enhancing patient satisfaction. The new digital health portal is an integrated platform that gives patients easy and secure access to the healthcare services they need and ensures effective one-to-one communication between patients and healthcare providers. By embracing the latest digital transformation developments, HAKEEM will help optimize the patient experience.”

Comprehensive features for greater convenience

The HAKEEM patient portal is designed to enhance accessibility and convenience. Features include:

  • Secure, anytime access to personal health data
  • Management of medical appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, or cancellation
  • Access to attendance and sick leave certificates, as well as other official documents
  • Viewing test results and medical reports, prescriptions, and treatment instructions
  • Health education messages and guidance
  • Submission of suggestions and complaints
  • Reduced paperwork and waiting times for faster medical access

The platform enables smoother healthcare experiences, continuous monitoring of patient health conditions, informed decision-making, and enhanced communication between patients and QRCS medical facilities.

The QRCS Medical Affairs Division oversees ambulance coverage and emergency response through the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department, health education and training through the Training and Development Center, and primary healthcare services through the Workers’ Health Centers.

These centers operate under a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Public Health, reflecting QRCS’s commitment to integrating innovative solutions in patient care and public health initiatives.
