The Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority (SERA) has intensified its monitoring and inspection tours of electricity stations and facilities across the holy sites ahead of the Hajj season.
The inspections aim to ensure full operational readiness and maintain uninterrupted power services around the clock to support pilgrims during the Hajj season.
SERA confirmed that its monitoring tours include regular field visits to electricity service providers’ worksites, as well as close oversight of operational processes and infrastructure performance.
The authority also assesses service quality on-site and ensures the prompt handling and verification of incoming reports, with the aim of maintaining uninterrupted and reliable electricity service delivery across the holy sites.
According to the statement, it also maintains continuous monitoring of electrical system loads to ensure they stay within safe operating limits, oversees strict compliance with safety regulations, and plays an active role in addressing any issues that could impact the performance and stability of the public electricity grid.
SERA explained that these intensive efforts are in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership, aiming to provide high-quality electricity services to pilgrims and ensure they can perform their rituals smoothly, safely, and with peace of mind.
Recently, the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority affirmed its ongoing commitment to providing the best possible services to pilgrims, in line with the directives of the wise leadership and under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Energy.
