Abraj Energy Services has signed a series of strategic agreements and partnerships aimed at strengthening operational sustainability, enhancing local value creation, and supporting the development of Oman’s energy sector.

The agreements were announced during the company’s participation in the Oman Oil and Energy Exhibition and Conference 2026 in Muscat.

The new partnerships focus on improving efficiency across upstream operations, expanding service capabilities, and advancing clean energy and local industrial development initiatives.

Cementing services contract with OQ Exploration and Production

As part of the agreements, Abraj Energy Services signed a five-year cementing services contract with OQ Exploration and Production.

The contract is scheduled for implementation in the first half of 2026 and will utilize Abraj’s cementing service units operating in fields 60 and 48.

The agreement is expected to enhance the company’s capacity to deliver integrated and reliable well services while supporting operational requirements within Oman’s upstream oil and gas sector.

Operational support agreement with PetroGas Rima

Abraj Energy Services also signed a strategic services agreement with PetroGas Rima to support operations within Petroleum Development Oman’s concession areas in southern Oman.

The agreement is intended to improve operational efficiency and ensure continuity of performance in key production zones, contributing to stability in critical energy operations across the country.

Clean energy and local supply chain partnerships

In addition to upstream service contracts, the company entered into two strategic partnerships with national firms focused on clean energy solutions and local industry development.

Abraj Energy Services signed an agreement with the National Gas Company to explore liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure solutions.

The initiative is aimed at supporting energy transition efforts, improving operational sustainability, and expanding the use of cleaner energy sources across drilling and industrial applications.

A separate partnership was signed with Imdaad Energy to support the development of manufacturing materials used in well stimulation operations.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen local supply chains, enhance SME participation, and increase in-country value through the development of national energy-related industries.

Engineer Saif bin Saeed Al Hamhami, Chief Executive Officer of Abraj Energy Services, said that these agreements reflect the company’s continued commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and local value creation.

Al Hamhami emphasized that Abraj remains focused on delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable energy services that align with national development objectives and support the broader goals of Oman Vision 2040.
