BaseTracK, a leading European pioneer & global innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, has selected the UAE as its research and development base by setting up its office and workshop in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ).
BaseTracK also unveiled its first local autonomous truck at an immersive test-drive event in Al Hamra, signifying a key milestone in the region’s automotive industry. The event witnessed government officials, industry leaders, and transportation experts.
The Company’s advanced autonomous system optimizes routes, speeds and accelerations, to reduce fuel consumption and environmental impact, by cutting fuel expenses which are around one-third of the logistics costs. Followed by the successful test drive of the autonomous truck, BaseTracK, intends to roll out the trucks soon on the UAE roads.

While working on Autonomous Trucking, BaseTracK intends to set up a production and assembly facility for its other product, Fuel Economy systems, which will be soon sold in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.
