Network International, a fintech company operating across the Middle East and Africa, has launched ‘Slice,’ an instant card-based installment solution in the UAE that enables eligible credit cardholders to convert purchases into interest-free, fee-free installments at the point of sale.
The solution has been introduced in collaboration with participating banks and is designed to provide consumers with greater payment flexibility while supporting merchants through an integrated payment acceptance platform.
The launch supports Network International’s strategy to expand payment options for consumers while enabling merchants to accept a broader range of payment methods.
Slice allows eligible customers to convert transactions into installments instantly without registering with a separate installment platform or obtaining additional approvals.
For purchases of $27 (AED 100) or more, shoppers using participating credit cards will receive a prompt on Network International’s point-of-sale terminals, allowing them to choose between paying the full amount or selecting the installment option.
The solution has been integrated directly into the existing card payment flow, enabling installments without requiring an additional checkout process.
According to the company, this approach provides a straightforward payment experience for consumers while offering merchants a lower-cost installment solution, faster settlement of transactions, and a streamlined checkout process.
Network International said that the solution helps merchants improve conversion rates, increase average transaction values, and attract customers seeking flexible payment options through their existing credit cards.
Slice is available across Network International’s merchant network through partnerships with leading card issuers in the UAE. The solution supports instant credit card installments for both in-store and online transactions.
Approximately 55% of credit cards issued in the UAE are already enabled for Slice, allowing eligible customers of participating banks to access the installment option immediately.
Murat Cagri Suzer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Network International, stated that, “By bringing financial institutions, merchants, and consumers together on a single platform, we are able to introduce innovative solutions that deliver value for everyone. With Slice, we are adding another way for consumers to pay and another way for businesses to sell. It is the latest step in our commitment to continuously deliver meaningful payment innovation that simplifies commerce and helps businesses and economies grow.”
