Dubai Chamber of Commerce has hosted a dialogue session in collaboration with the Al Batinah North Governorate branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aimed at strengthening logistics cooperation between the business communities of Dubai and Oman.
The event was attended by HE Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Eng. Saeed bin Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Batinah North Governorate branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The session brought together more than 360 representatives from private sector companies.
Discussions between Dubai and Oman Chambers focused on emerging opportunities, strengthening cooperation, and developing solutions to help businesses navigate evolving global supply chain challenges while ensuring the smooth flow of bilateral trade.
Participants included representatives from SOHAR Port, Oman Logistics Centre, Al Madina Logistics, and the Directorate General of Customs of the Royal Oman Police, alongside companies from the transport and freight sectors in Oman, as well as Dubai-based businesses across multiple industries.
The session forms part of Dubai Chambers’ broader efforts to enhance the resilience of bilateral trade with Oman. Earlier this month, a Dubai Chambers delegation visited Sohar in Al Batinah North Governorate, where they met with the local branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore ways to deepen cooperation across key sectors and unlock high-value opportunities for businesses in both markets.
During the visit, the delegation also toured SOHAR Port and Sohar Industrial City (Madayn), where discussions centered on improving goods movement, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and advancing logistics integration between Dubai and Sohar in support of shared economic goals.
These initiatives reflect Dubai Chambers’ commitment to strengthening economic ties with global markets, fostering strategic partnerships, and enhancing the resilience and adaptability of Dubai’s private sector in an evolving global economy.
