Google has officially launched Deep Think, the most advanced reasoning model in its Gemini 2.5 series, marking a significant step forward in AI development.

Designed to elevate logical thinking, problem-solving, and creative capabilities, Deep Think delivers a more refined and responsive AI experience aimed at users seeking deeper cognitive performance from their virtual assistants and tools.

Furthermore, it leverages a multi-agent architecture, enabling the model to generate and evaluate multiple hypotheses simultaneously before generating its final response.

This exclusive rollout is now available to Google AI Ultra subscribers through the Gemini app, marking a major milestone in the company’s efforts to build more capable and intuitive AI systems.

Google Deep Think Outperforming Rivals

According to Google, ‘Deep Think’ outperformed leading competitor models such as ‘OpenAI o3’ and ‘Grok 4’ in multiple benchmark tests.

Google’s latest AI model, Deep Think, has demonstrated bronze-level performance on the 2025 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) benchmark during internal testing—a result that underscores the system’s advanced reasoning abilities.

As per the reports, it topped other challenging benchmarks, including LiveCodeBench V6 (competitive coding), Humanity’s Last Exam, and scored 84 percent on MMMU, a multimodal reasoning test.

Deep Think extends inference time to explore parallel reasoning pathways, refining answers through successive hypothesis generation and synthesis.

The new features include ‘thinking budgets’ (allowing developers to balance quality vs. latency) and ‘thought summaries’ that outline the model’s reasoning steps for transparency and debugging.

As per the statement, this release follows a limited testing phase and was first unveiled by the company during the recent Google I/O conference.
