HONOR has launched a strategic partnership with OWN eSIM to provide integrated digital connectivity and seamless eSIM services for smartphone users across the GCC region.
Under the collaboration, the OWN eSIM application will be preinstalled on selected HONOR smartphone models through Google PAI, enabling users to activate global connectivity services directly from their devices without the need for physical SIM cards.
The partnership aims to simplify international connectivity for users by allowing instant activation of data services, particularly for travelers and consumers using multiple mobile networks across borders.
HONOR said the integration reflects growing demand for seamless digital services and supports the company’s strategy to expand innovation beyond hardware by embedding smart connectivity solutions into its smartphone ecosystem.
The preinstallation of the OWN eSIM platform on HONOR devices is also expected to improve accessibility and adoption of eSIM technology across the GCC, while expanding OWN eSIM’s regional user base.
For OWN eSIM, the agreement represents a step toward strengthening its position in the GCC’s growing eSIM market and increasing consumer access to its connectivity platform through direct integration with HONOR devices.
The companies stated that the partnership will also include joint marketing and communication campaigns across the region to promote awareness and adoption of integrated eSIM technology.
