The Regional Voluntary Carbon Market Company (VCM) has launched a strategic partnership with Lenovo and ClimeCo to promote sustainable industrial operations for Lenovo’s expanding manufacturing footprint in Saudi Arabia.

As Lenovo establishes one of its largest global manufacturing facilities in the Kingdom, the collaboration will integrate structured emissions management and offset strategies into its industrial growth plans.

VCM will leverage its carbon market expertise, while ClimeCo will provide decarbonization solutions, helping Lenovo address operational emissions through verified carbon credits.

The partnership connects industrial expansion with environmental stewardship, supporting Lenovo’s sustainability agenda while generating local economic benefits. By channeling carbon finance into Saudi Arabia’s voluntary carbon market, the initiative aligns industrial growth with the Kingdom’s climate and economic objectives.

VCM will provide market infrastructure and advisory support to implement the carbon credit strategy in line with international standards, while ClimeCo, a long-standing Lenovo carbon offset partner, will ensure a transparent, credible, and comprehensive approach to industrial sustainability.
