Karwa Motors and E-Mushrif have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in developing smart transportation solutions and technologies in Oman.
The partnership aims to improve fleet management systems, enhance road safety and security, and support the use of digital technologies in the transport sector.
The agreement brings together Karwa Motors’ industrial expertise and E-Mushrif’s capabilities in vehicle tracking, fleet management, and smart safety systems. The two companies will work to provide integrated transportation solutions for government and private sector customers.
The MoU supports efforts to accelerate digital transformation in the transport sector. It also aims to provide solutions that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Under the agreement, the two companies will explore opportunities to develop a range of smart transportation solutions. These include bus and vehicle monitoring systems, fleet management platforms, driver and passenger safety technologies, operational data analytics, and smart monitoring systems.
The collaboration will also examine digital solutions that help transport operators improve fleet performance and day-to-day operations.
Karwa Motors and E-Mushrif stated that the collaboration is a step towards developing a smarter and more sustainable transportation system. It also supports the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The companies noted that the partnership will contribute to the localization of modern technologies and strengthen local content. It is also aligned with ongoing developments in the global smart transportation sector.
