MBME Pay Payment Services Provider (MBME Pay), a wholly owned subsidiary of the MBME Group, has received a Payment Service Provider license (Category 3) from the Central Bank of the UAE to conduct merchant acquiring and payment aggregation activities.

The approval places MBME Pay among a select group of fully regulated payment service providers in the UAE, strengthening its position within the country’s digital payments ecosystem.

The company emphasized that the license underscores its infrastructure capabilities, compliance standards and ambition to support the growth of digital commerce.

With the new authorization, MBME Pay is permitted to provide end-to-end merchant acquiring solutions, operate as a licensed payment aggregator across multiple channels, and deliver compliant transaction processing services for businesses. The company will also support enterprises, SMEs and government entities in transitioning toward digital payment systems.

The firm said it will offer merchants an integrated platform covering onboarding, system integration, fraud and risk management, transaction processing and support services within a regulated framework.

As part of MBME Group’s broader ecosystem, MBME Pay connects consumers, merchants and institutions through integrated payment technologies, APIs and digital platforms. The company supports payment services across e-commerce, retail, service industries and government channels, enabling secure and streamlined transactions.

The license is expected to enhance MBME Pay’s ability to expand partnerships with financial institutions and technology providers, while increasing its portfolio of merchant-focused services.
