MODON & Tabadul sign MoU to cooperate in industrial & logistics sectors

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Company for Electronic Information Exchange (Tabadul) in order to strengthen cooperation for developing innovative solutions in the industrial and logistics sectors.

The MoU was signed by MODON CEO Eng. Majed Al-Argoubi and Tabadul CEO Mr. Majed bin Faleh Al-Otaibi and aspires to promote joint cooperation in technology, transport, and logistics services.

According to the MoU, the two parties will maintain ongoing communication and data exchange and will also cooperate in designing, developing, and operating technical logistics products and services.

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) reaffirmed its efforts to strengthen the partnership with the private sector to scale up the service quality in the industrial, logistics, and services sectors. Furthermore, both parties share the common goal of leveraging their capabilities and expertise in the fields of industrial city management and logistics services, technical performance optimization, data integration and governance, as well as database building via geofencing.

Mr. Al-Otaibi stated that “this MoU aligns with Tabadul’s strategy of expanding our services to more governmental and business beneficiaries and driving logistics automation across the board to champion digital transformation in various sectors, especially the industrial sector, to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030’s National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).”

Tabadul is a leading Saudi digital logistics company established by Royal Decree to assist in the digital transformation of the logistics and business sectors and develop secure technology solutions that facilitate international trade by promoting efficiency and transparency while enhancing operational performance to support the region’s economic aspirations and progress towards large-scale development.
