Rabdan Academy has officially received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), one of the most prestigious and influential accrediting bodies in the United States.
This global recognition underscores the Academy’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in higher education.
As a result, Rabdan Academy has made history as the first government higher education institution in the UAE to earn this prestigious accreditation. It is also the first specialized institution worldwide in defense, security, and crisis management to receive this distinguished international recognition.
This milestone comes after Rabdan Academy’s announcement in December 2024 of its candidacy for global accreditation, following a thorough evaluation by a committee of nine international experts.
The committee assessed the academy’s governance standards, the effectiveness of its academic programs, the quality of student services, and the efficiency of its institutional systems, ultimately paving the way for the official granting of full accreditation.
