SAL Logistics Services, a Saudi provider of cargo handling, logistics solutions, and supply chain management services, has revealed that its Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Integrated Management System has achieved triple ISO certification, making it the first Saudi company in the logistics sector to receive the integrated accreditation.
The certification combines three internationally recognized ISO standards within a unified governance framework following an external audit conducted according to global standards, the company said.
According to SAL, the achievement reflects the company’s efforts to strengthen operational excellence, safety standards, sustainability practices, and security management across its logistics and cargo operations throughout the Kingdom.
The integrated accreditation includes compliance with ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety management, ISO 14001 for environmental management systems, and ISO 18788 for security operations management systems.
SAL stated that the certification was achieved through the expertise and operational capabilities of its teams working across the company’s major logistics hubs and operational facilities in different regions of Saudi Arabia.
The company said the accreditation reinforces its commitment to implementing international best practices in health, safety, environmental sustainability, and operational security while supporting the continued development of the Kingdom’s logistics sector.
The latest certification adds to SAL’s portfolio of international operational standards and accreditations, including ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 22301 for Business Continuity Management, and the International Air Transport Association’s ISAGO certification for ground handling operations.
SAL noted that the milestone aligns with its broader strategy to expand its global logistics ecosystem and strengthen service quality across cargo handling and supply chain operations.
The company added that the achievement supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, which aim to position Saudi Arabia as a leading global logistics hub connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa through advanced transport and supply chain infrastructure.
