Sidra Medicine and QatarEnergy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a strategic framework for collaboration across healthcare services, professional development, and the exchange of institutional expertise.

The agreement underscores both organizations’ shared commitment to advancing Qatar’s healthcare ecosystem and supporting the well-being of patients, healthcare professionals, and the broader community.

By formalizing cooperation, the two entities aim to enhance service accessibility, streamline healthcare pathways, and promote long-term sector development.

Under the MoU, Sidra Medicine will work closely with QatarEnergy to deliver structured commercial healthcare solutions, including insurance pathways and customized maternity and corporate healthcare packages designed to meet the needs of QatarEnergy’s workforce.

“This Memorandum of Understanding with QatarEnergy reflects our commitment to working closely with national partners to support access to high-quality healthcare services and invest in professional development. Our collaboration and shared expertise will help strengthen and support Qatar’s healthcare systems in the long term.”

Nabeel Mohammed Al-Buenain, Executive Vice President for HSE & Business Services at QatarEnergy, highlighted that, “The MoU with Sidra Medicine reflects QatarEnergy’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our workforce through access to high-quality, specialized healthcare services. By collaborating with a leading healthcare institution, we aim to enhance healthcare pathways, invest in professional development, and contribute to the continued advancement of Qatar’s healthcare ecosystem.”

Beyond commercial healthcare offerings, the MoU includes provisions for education and training programs, such as continuing medical education, professional development initiatives, and health awareness programs.

The collaboration will also facilitate coordination of clinical services, including outpatient support, referral pathways, and access to specialized care.
