stc pay Bahrain has partnered with Payment International Enterprise (PIE), a Bahrain-based fintech provider, to enable QR code payments on PIE’s point-of-sale (POS) devices across the Kingdom.
The partnership allows stc pay users to make payments by scanning QR codes generated on PIE POS terminals through the stc pay mobile app. Transactions are processed instantly without the need for cash or physical payment cards.
The integration connects stc pay’s customer base with PIE’s merchant network, extending QR payment acceptance across retail, hospitality, and service sectors. It also provides merchants with an additional digital payment option while expanding access to stc pay users.
According to the companies, the partnership supports Bahrain’s efforts to expand digital payment services and reduce reliance on cash. The integration also helps merchants improve transaction efficiency and streamline payment processing.
