The region’s leading video-on-demand Streaming company Starzplay said it is partnering with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to establish its headquarters in the UAE capital.
The partnership is part of ADIO’s $545 million Innovation Program, an initiative of the Abu Dhabi government’s Ghadan 21 accelerator program.
The streaming service will expand its partnerships with the city’s thriving media and creative ecosystem to provide subscribers with exclusive, on-demand content from its Abu Dhabi headquarters. Starzplay will partner with local production houses and animation studios to produce compelling original content, especially relevant for the region’s largest demographic, the 200 million Arab youth.

ADIO has offered Starzplay competitive financial and non-financial incentives, including rebates on high-skilled payroll, technology-related capital investment, and other operating expenses as a part of the innovation program partnership.
