“The partnership with companies such as Creative Zone is in line with the Council’s ongoing efforts to support businesswomen and entrepreneurs in Dubai. We are committed to helping them overcome the current challenges while contributing to their professional success by collaborating with organisations who share the same mission and objectives.”

“Working in the business environment in Dubai requires exceptional skills due to the high competitiveness that makes the business environment special. With that in mind, the accelerator program that we will launch with Creative Zone is an exemplary initiative that will take into consideration all the best internationally adopted practices in the field of training and mentorship which will enable the businesswomen in our network to set up and/or scale up their businesses,” Halabi appended.

With this partnership, Creative Zone will also unveil its accelerator program through which they will select and support business plans with an incentive package, business setup. An extended support worth around $40,000 will also be provided.

“We are excited to launch the Accelerator Programme that helps SMEs with the needed support to start their businesses, especially during uncertain times. The project is scheduled to go live by September 2020,” said Lorenzo Jooris, CEO of Creative Zone.

The DBWC, formed under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been continuing to play an active role in encouraging the participation of women in businesses to bring in gender parity.
