Abu Dhabi-based National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) has completed its merger with National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), following the approvals from regulatory authorities.
The agreement, which gained shareholder approval last year, will establish a new integrated national and regional Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) player, specializing in oil and gas and marine dredging work. The firms are complementary, and the merger provides the combined group with substantial revenue diversification.
Through the creation of a single platform, the combined group aims to increase the growth opportunities in the UAE and key regional markets, with strong capabilities across the value chain to support future expansion plans.
