The Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) and AD Ports Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance Emiratization in the private sector.

The agreement came within the framework of the NAFIS program, the federal initiative that aims to raise the competitiveness of Emirati citizens and provide them with job opportunities in the private sector. As per the terms of the agreement, AD Ports will be working with NAFIS to recruit 7,500 UAE nationals over the next five years, at a rate of 1,500 jobs annually.

The MoU was signed by HE Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of ETCC, and Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, of AD Ports Group.

Mr. Al Mazrouei pointed out the importance of NAFIS’ partnerships in introducing the program to UAE nationals and raising awareness of its benefits, as well as encouraging private sector companies to attract local talent and provide them with job opportunities that match their qualifications.
