Abu Dhabi University (ADU)’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programmes (ORSP) has exceeded 4,000 research publications in the prestigious Scopus Index, marking a key milestone in its research and academic journey.

This highlights ADU’s commitment to high-impact research that supports global discourse and tackles pressing societal challenges across various fields such as engineering and technology, business, management and economics, health sciences, mathematics, and physical sciences.

ADU continues to enhance its scholarly influence, with 16.9 percent of its research ranked among the world’s top 10 percent most cited publications and 27.5 percent appearing in the top 10 percent journals by CiteScore.

With a total of 77,445 citations and an impressive 19.4 citations per publication, the university’s research highlights the depth and significance of its contributions to the global academic landscape.

Furthermore, the university’s Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) of 2.55 exceeds global benchmarks, emphasizing the profound impact of its research initiatives.

The excellence is supported by international collaborations, with 67.6 percent of its publications resulting from partnerships with 2,471 institutions from around the world.

ADU’s collaborations with leading academic and research institutions such as Texas A&M University, USA, University of Oxford, UK and University of Louisville, USA, have resulted in 2,336 co-authored publications. This reflects ADU’s commitment to promoting interdisciplinary research and advancing cross-border scientific innovation.
