Kuwait Real Estate Company (AQARAT), in partnership with its subsidiary IFA Hotels and Resorts, has entered into a contract worth $54 million (AED198 million) with the UAE’s Darwish Engineering to develop Al Tay Hills residential project.
Strategically located on Emirates Road, Al Tay Hills stands out as one of the largest residential developments in Sharjah. The project, spanning over 6 million square feet, features 1,100 residential units, including villas and townhouses. The first phase is set for delivery in the first quarter of 2028.
Signed through Qaryat Al Nakheel Real Estate, the project’s executive arm and a subsidiary of Kuwait Real Estate, the contract includes the design and execution of core infrastructure, such as sewage networks, a wastewater treatment plant, two water pumping stations, and networks for roads, stormwater drainage, electricity, telecommunications and water.

Bahaa Al-Nahwi, General Manager of Darwish Engineering, stated that the agreement marks a key milestone, strengthening the company’s commitment to providing integrated engineering solutions in Sharjah.
The General Manager also stressed that Darwish Engineering will deploy its full technical expertise and resources aimed at delivering the project within the approved timeline while aligning with the highest engineering standards.
