Aster DM Healthcare presents a 50-bed critical care hospital to Dubai

UAE’s Aster DM Healthcare founded by Dr. Azad Moopen, renowned developer of healthcare facilities, has presented a brand new 50-bed critical care hospital complex to boost its current capability to offer treatment to COVID-19 sufferers.

The new complex will also set up a screening center for COVID-19 that will contribute to the surrounding neighborhood of Muhaisnah in Dubai. Aster DM has chosen medical specialists from India to strengthen the present units in the UAE.

Aster Hospital Al Qusais and Medcare multi-specialty hospital, Al Safa are designated centers by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for COVID-19 medication. With this new hospital, Aster DM Healthcare extends its presence in the UAE, with four Aster and Medcare hospitals each.

In an effort to offer superior healthcare to COVID-19 subjects in the UAE, the Aster Muhaisnah Hospital was fast-tracked with the backing of officials to initiate services.

“The 50-bed Aster Hospital in Muhaisnah has all the facilities available to be a secondary/ tertiary care hospital manned by our experienced medical professionals. It is all the more important at the present juncture as it can take care of the requirement of Covid-19 patients who need advanced care including ventilators. It will also address the requirement of screening and testing of residents of Muhaisnah to contain the infection.”

With the new hospital complex, Aster Hospitals now provides a consolidated bed capability of 310 over four locations in the UAE.
