BBK expands education support through new collaboration

The Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) has signed a diamond partnership agreement with the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust to support educational programs and expand learning opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The agreement is intended to develop the existing partnership between both sides and enhance initiatives focused on educational development and human capital advancement.

It also aligns with broader efforts to expand access to education and support national talent development.

Ali Habib Qassim, member of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, said that the trust, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, remains committed to supporting national talent and expanding educational opportunities.

Qassim noted that the partnership reflects ongoing collaboration with the private sector to strengthen educational initiatives and prepare qualified Bahraini professionals.

Ali Habib Qassim added that investment in human capital remains a key priority for sustainable development, highlighting the importance of private sector participation in supporting education and community-focused programs.

Mohammed Al Alawi, Chief Executive of Strategy and Transformation at BBK, emphasized that the partnership aligns with the bank’s strategy to support the trust’s initiatives as part of its corporate social responsibility framework.

Al Alawi underscored that the BBK continues to direct its CSR programs toward key sectors, particularly education, due to its importance in supporting long-term economic and social development.

The cooperation with the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust reflects BBK’s commitment to building effective partnerships that provide educational opportunities for Bahraini students and contribute to national development objectives.

Mashael Al Qutami, Acting Secretary-General and Director of Student Affairs and Educational Institutions at the trust, affirmed that the organization continues to support Bahraini students through partnerships with private sector entities.
