The Bahrain’s Ministry of Education and INJAZ Bahrain have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide training programs and workshops for school students focused on developing leadership and entrepreneurship skills, while promoting volunteering, initiative and teamwork.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, and Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain.
The MoU aims to equip students with skills required for future careers, foster a culture of productivity and social responsibility, and leverage INJAZ Bahrain’s expertise in designing and implementing specialized training programs.
Dr. Juma said the partnership reflects the ministry’s commitment to enhancing students’ academic and personal development through practical learning opportunities. He highlighted INJAZ Bahrain’s achievements in advancing volunteerism, leadership development and community engagement since its establishment, noting that its programs and initiatives have benefited large numbers of students across the Kingdom.
The minister also thanked HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa for her efforts to expand the reach of INJAZ Bahrain’s programs among school students. He praised the longstanding cooperation between the ministry and the organization, citing its positive impact on strengthening students’ skills and educational outcomes.
HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa said that the partnership with the Ministry of Education has created numerous training opportunities and high-quality initiatives that have enhanced students’ capabilities and encouraged innovation and entrepreneurship. She noted that expanding participation in programs delivered by INJAZ Bahrain in collaboration with private-sector partners contributes to students’ academic growth and boosts competitiveness among educational institutions.

Under the MoU, both sides will work to develop students’ entrepreneurial skills, prepare them for professional life, and promote values such as initiative, teamwork, productivity and volunteering. The agreement also seeks to strengthen awareness of social responsibility among young people.
The signing coincides with the 20th anniversary of INJAZ Bahrain, which has empowered tens of thousands of students through programs focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and volunteerism. The milestone underscores the organization’s continued commitment to its national mission and its role in preparing future generations to meet evolving challenges.
