Bilateral trade volumes between UAE and Bahrain surpass $550 million in Q1 2020

Bahrain’s Information and e-Government Authority reported that the volume of bilateral trade between Bahrain and the UAE exceeded $550.4 million in the first quarter of 2020.

These figures contributed to 33.81 percent of Bahrain’s bilateral trade volume with GCC countries, which stood at $1.667 billion in the first quarter of 2020.

Bahrain reported the largest volume of bilateral trade in Q1 2020 with Saudi Arabia at $819 million, or 49.1 percent of the GCC total. Trade volume with the UAE reached second.

Figures also explained that the value of total imports to Bahrain from the GCC stood at $541.4 million during the period, while the value of non-oil exports from Bahrain to the GCC registered at $1.126 billion.
