China-UAE Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference was held in Shanghai in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, bringing together senior government officials, business leaders, and investors from both countries.

The China-UAE Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference took place as part of the China International Import Expo 2025 (CIIE) in Shanghai, one of the world’s largest platforms for promoting global trade and investment.

The UAE is participating this year in the event as the guest of honor, showcasing its economic achievements, investment opportunities, and commitment to strengthening partnerships with China and other international markets.

The China-UAE Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference aims to strengthen investment and trade cooperation between the two countries, highlighting existing partnerships and joint projects in sectors such as energy, technology, and sustainability, while exploring new opportunities to enhance bilateral trade and expand mutual investment.

HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed also witnessed the signing of 15 agreements and memoranda of understanding between leading institutions and companies from the UAE and China.

These agreements at China-UAE Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference covered various sectors, including energy, technology, infrastructure, finance, and renewable resources, reflecting the growing depth of economic collaboration and shared commitment to fostering sustainable development between the two nations.

These agreements aim to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two friendly nations and deepen collaboration across key sectors such as energy, technology, sustainability, agriculture, and the digital economy. Through these initiatives, both countries seek to support long-term economic growth, promote innovation, and advance their shared vision for a prosperous and sustainable future.
