Saudi Arabia has launched its national pavilion at Transport Logistic China 2026 in Shanghai, showcasing more than 75 investment opportunities and signing seven agreements with Chinese partners as the Kingdom steps up efforts to strengthen its position as a global logistics hub under Saudi Vision 2030.
Organized under the umbrella of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and Invest Saudi, the pavilion brings together 25 national entities representing the transport, logistics and investment sectors.
The delegation is highlighting strategic projects designed to attract foreign investment, expand industrial partnerships and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s role as a key trade and logistics gateway connecting Asia, Europe and Africa.
On the opening day of the exhibition, Saudi and Chinese entities signed seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and cooperation agreements aimed at expanding trade, advancing technology transfer and supporting industrial localization in the Kingdom.
Among the key agreements was a partnership between NIDLP and Huawei focused on human capital development, alongside an agreement between Elm and SUTPC to develop digital solutions for smart cities. Additional collaborations covered electric mobility initiatives, while logistics and manufacturing agreements included plans to establish a tire manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia, supporting the Kingdom’s industrial diversification strategy.
The agreements underscore the Kingdom’s efforts to deepen economic cooperation with China while accelerating investment in advanced manufacturing, digital transformation and sustainable transport solutions.
In parallel with the signing of the agreements, the pavilion has hosted a series of specialized workshops and executive meetings highlighting more than 75 high-quality investment opportunities across the transport, logistics and industrial sectors.

A featured workshop, titled ‘Moving Forward‘, brought together transport and port sector officials to discuss supply chain resilience, public-private sector integration and innovation in logistics. Participants explored strategies to strengthen global supply chains, improve operational efficiency and enhance collaboration between government and private sector stakeholders.
The Saudi pavilion will continue its program over the remaining two days of the exhibition, with a focus on bilateral meetings between investors and government officials, as well as the signing of additional agreements intended to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role in international trade, logistics and investment.
