DMCC has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) and the London Diamond Bourse (LDB).

The MoU strengthens ties between the two bourses by expanding business opportunities for members and supporting collaboration across the international diamond and gemstone trade.

It also provides a framework for promoting responsible trade, facilitating commercial opportunities, encouraging knowledge exchange, and strengthening links between their respective members.

The partnership will also facilitate dialogue on issues affecting the global diamond industry, enabling both organizations to address developments in an increasingly interconnected international market.

The agreement reflects the shared commitment of the two World Federation of Diamond Bourses members to strengthen cooperation between major trading centers and support a more connected global diamond trading network.

The MoU was signed by Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange, and Charlotte Rose, President of the London Diamond Bourse. It is the first formal international partnership signed under Rose’s presidency following her appointment in June.

“The partnership with the London Diamond Bourse reflects that philosophy, bringing together two major diamond trading centers to strengthen collaboration and expand opportunities for our respective members. By working more closely together, we can establish a stronger network of trusted trading centers, sharing expertise, upholding recognized standards, and reinforcing confidence and growth across the global diamond trade.”

Charlotte Rose said that, “There is no better partner for the London Diamond Bourse to begin this new chapter with than the Dubai Diamond Exchange. As a fellow member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, the DDE shares our commitment to trusted, well-governed trading, and this agreement opens up real opportunities for members on both sides.”
