BEACON RED, a wholly owned subsidiary in the Space & Cyber Technologies within EDGE Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the US-based Barricade AI, a provider of AI-driven public safety solutions.
The partnership was announced during World Police Summit, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The summit, hosted by Dubai Police, revolved around the theme ‘Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing.’
The event gathered law enforcement professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to explore latest technologies, emerging trends, and collaborative strategies to address the evolving challenges in public safety and security through collaboration and innovation.
This strategic alliance between EDGE and Barricade AI aims to advance the integration of AI into global policing operations, as well as leverage cutting-edge technologies to power smart cities, enhance threat detection, and boost personnel efficiency, cementing both companies’ position at the forefront of innovative policing technologies.
The agreement marks a key step forward in the development of AI-powered tools that will transform policing, improve security infrastructure, and contribute to safer communities worldwide.
