US-based technology giant Google’s cross-platform web browser Google Chrome is reportedly getting a new feature ‘send password’ which will allow users to send saved passwords in Google Chrome.

Currently, the built-in password manager in Chrome Browser helps to store and manage passwords inside the browser for quick access. The new feature will help in sharing the saved password. Once live, the new feature will allow Chrome users to share passwords with other people within the security of the browser.

Chrome developers have reportedly added the send password button under an overflow menu next to each username and password combination. The browser already has a copy password button.

Notes to Saved Passwords

Meanwhile, Google is also testing a new feature to add notes for the passwords saved in the Chrome password manager. Spotted by a Reddit user, the feature is currently available to a limited group of users as a test.

This feature can be seen as a simple ‘Note’ field under username and password fields. The option can be seen when editing the existing password or adding one for the first time. This feature will help users provide context to an account that has already been added by a user. Security questions, small information for the Note section will help you remember the details of the account.
