flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, has launched new direct flights to Nairobi International Airport (NBO) in Kenya starting 15 October 2025, operating four times a week from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to enhance connectivity and convenience for travelers.

In addition to the newly launched service to the Kenyan capital, flydubai will also increase its operations to Mombasa, upgrading the route to a daily service starting 01 October 2025.

This expansion will bring the airline’s total number of weekly flights to Kenya to 11, further strengthening connectivity, boosting trade and tourism flows, and offering passengers greater choice and flexibility when traveling between the UAE and East Africa.

Flights to Nairobi International Airport (NBO) will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Terminal 3, Dubai International (DXB), starting 15 October 2025.

Return Business Class fares from DXB to NBO start from $1,225 (AED 4,500), while Economy Class Lite fares start from $463 (AED 1,700). Return Business Class fares from NBO to DXB start from $2,000, and Economy Class Lite fares start from $500.

flydubai has steadily built its presence in Africa, connecting Dubai to key markets in the region. With the launch of Nairobi, the airline now serves 12 destinations in the market including, including Alexandria, Addis Ababa, Al Alamein (as a seasonal summer route), Asmara, Cairo, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti, Entebbe, Hargeisa, Mombasa and Zanzibar.

These flights support increased connectivity for passengers and contribute to stronger business and tourism flows between the UAE and East Africa.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said the launch of flights to Nairobi, alongside the daily service to Mombasa that began in 2024, marks a significant expansion of the airline’s footprint in Kenya.

He noted that the routes offer greater convenience for customers from the UAE and across flydubai’s network, whether traveling for business, leisure, or to visit family and friends, while extending thanks to Kenyan authorities and partners for their support in making the expansion possible.
