G42 and UAE Team Emirates-XRG have launched the world’s first cycling helmet powered by generative AI, developed in collaboration with helmet manufacturer MET.
Riders from UAE Team Emirates-XRG will debut the innovative helmet during the ongoing Tour de France.
Designed using G42’s advanced generative AI technology and developed in partnership with MET Helmets, the unique livery blends data, performance, and creativity, interpreting movement through airflow and negative space, as riders transcend across mountains, coastlines, and cities.
According to the statement, this milestone signals a paradigm shift in the use of AI in elite sports, as cycling becomes a testbed for next-generation innovation.
