INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding based in the UAE, has sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British University in Egypt.
The partnership was formalized during an official visit by the INDEX Holding delegation to Cairo. Through this strategic move, they aim to develop an integrated model that blends academic depth with professional expertise in medical education, scientific research and the organization of global events.
This is not just a typical academic partnership, as it embodies INDEX’s vision as a regional powerhouse to drive positive impact and export knowledge and expertise across the Arab world.
The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to redefining the connection between education and industry, particularly in the conference and events sector. Rather than building mere seasonal occasions, they aim to transform events into platforms for future and growth.
Held at the British University in Egypt’s headquarters, the signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani Roving Ambassador of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) for the GCC Region and Chairman of INDEX Holding, and Dr. Tarek Abbas, Vice President of the British University in Egypt, along with a high dignitary of professors from the university’s medical and pharmaceutical faculties.
Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani highlighted that the agreement opens new horizons for impactful partnerships, reflecting the UAE’s key role and its national institutions’ dedication to supporting health and education efforts both regionally and globally.
Dr. Tarek Abbas underscored the significance of this partnership with INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions, stating that the MoU marks a key step towards expanding regional and international cooperation in medical education, training and continuous professional development.
